BEAR HOPE is an initiative by Stiftung für Bären (DE), Bears in Mind (NL), Czech University of Life Sciences (CZ), and Institute of Nature Conservation PAS (PL). Our mission is to improve the welfare of captive bears at Czech castles and gradually end bear-keeping in Czech castle moats. To achieve this goal, we work in close cooperation with the National Heritage Institute – NPU (CZ).
